When Second Block Hospitality approached us for branding their new Asian fusion restaurant, Bodhi Kitchen, I was excited by the concept of creating a space that embodied enlightenment and offered an escape for diners. With blueprints and mood boards in hand, I eagerly got to work.

One of the first things that caught my attention was the moon gate, a symbol of transition and discovery. I envisioned Bodhi Kitchen as a bold and striking presence amidst the coastal charm of Rehoboth Beach.

I also wanted to infuse the brand with personality, which led to the creation of the the foo dog illustrations, directly inspired by iconic figure at the restaurant's entrance. This fierce yet endearing mascot became a central theme in Bodhi Kitchen's branding, adding a touch of character to the overall experience.
